Acceptance and Apple terms

By downloading, purchasing, or using Yalla Focus, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated into these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Yalla Focus for a school or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Yalla Focus on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple's rules. You may not reverse engineer where prohibited, circumvent access controls, disrupt the service, misuse online rooms, infringe others' rights, or use the app unlawfully.

Your content and backups

You keep ownership of content you create or import. You confirm you have the right to use that content and grant Yalla Focus the limited permission needed to display, transform, back up, and otherwise process it at your direction.

Yalla Focus is local-first. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for checking imported, exported, and restored content. Do not rely on the app as the only copy of critical academic, medical, legal, financial, or business records.

Yalla Focus Pro subscriptions

Some features require Yalla Focus Pro. The App Store shows the price, currency, billing period, and any trial or offer before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple's subscription-management controls.

You can manage or cancel from iOS Settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Apple states otherwise. Refunds, billing disputes, price changes, trials, and renewal timing are handled under Apple's rules.

When Pro expires, paid features become unavailable. Your locally stored study content is not automatically deleted; access and editing remain subject to the capabilities of the free version. Restoring a valid purchase reactivates eligible Pro features after Apple and RevenueCat validation.

AI-generated study material

AI features can generate summaries, flashcards, or quizzes from material you choose. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review them before studying or sharing them. They are educational aids, not professional advice or authoritative academic answers.

Third-party content and services

Embedded websites, links, App Store billing, iCloud Drive, Firebase, RevenueCat, and Apple system frameworks are operated by third parties and may have separate terms. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, or practices. A link or embedded preview is not an endorsement.

Availability and changes

Features can depend on hardware, permissions, operating-system language, Apple Intelligence availability, network access, or region. We may improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features and may issue updates needed for security or compatibility. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yalla Focus is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee grades, productivity, retention, data recovery, or a particular academic outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yalla Focus and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, study time, profits, or opportunities. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited as allowed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may limit or terminate access to online features for material abuse, illegality, security risk, or violation of these terms. Sections that logically survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

Changes, law, and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

These terms and the Apple EULA apply together. Applicable mandatory consumer law and Apple's EULA dispute provisions take priority where required. Arabic and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; if there is a conflict, the English version controls unless applicable law requires otherwise.
